2019 is looking to be a hot market for job seekers. But recruiting the best candidates for the job isn’t always easy. Director of executive search for Bishop & Company, Erinn Tomlinson, and talent acquisition specialist, Audrey Putz, sat down with HI Now host Kanoe Gibson to share some tips on how businesses can find good employees.
First, you should post the job everywhere; your website, bulletin boards, external job boards like Career Builder. Then tell everyone; all your vendors, clients, your CPA, your banker, your lawyer, etc. High schools and community colleges are another good source of talent. Contact community, alumnae or professional organizations, charities, etc. Social media is a great way to recruit candidates by talking about your brand and company as a place to work. Use Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn to talk about all the fun things your organization is doing.
