The Yeti Power Station is like a power bank on steroids!
From weather-related power outages to job sites and outdoor activities, there is always a need for an independent power source! HI Now host Kainoa Carlson is with Gabe Berry at City Mill to get a demonstration of some products that can serve as alternative power sources when and where you need them most.
One product you can find at City Mill is the Yeti Power Station from Goal Zero. It’s lightweight at 5 lbs and serves as a portable, rechargeable power source and an alternative to gas and electric generators. Unlike a traditional gas generator, the Yeti is quiet, doesn’t have smelly fumes and doesn’t need to be maintained or refilled with gas.
“Think of the Yeti as a power bank on steroids!” Berry says. “You can power up the Yeti by plugging it into a wall outlet, and it will be fully charged in three hours.”
Since it is so portable and lightweight, people can use it outdoors while hiking, camping, fishing and so much more. It’s also a great thing to have during an emergency as well. On a full battery, it will charge cell phones, laptops, small appliances (like a mini fridge), and even power tools on a work site!
Unlike a traditional gas generator, the Yeti is also quiet, doesn’t emit any smelly fumes and doesn’t need to be maintained or refilled with gas. So if you’re in need of an alternate power source, it’s a great tool to have on hand!
City Mill carries a wide variety of products to help with all of your household needs! So next time you’re at one of the store’s many locations, be sure to check out these alternative power solutions. All of the products demonstrated during this segment are available at all City Mill locations except Waianae.
