Zippy's to offer 25% off breakfast bentos if app reaches 450,000 activations by March 26
Sponsored by Zippy’s and AlohaSafe Alert
AlohaSafe Alert is a free, voluntary new service that helps slow the spread of COVID-19. It is the state of Hawaii’s official exposure notification app, and for a limited time, Zippy’s is offering a special deal to those who download it.
Download the AlohaSafe Alert app to get COVID-19 exposure notifications and help keep Hawaii safe and healthy – all while maintaining your privacy. The app does not track your location. It anonymously keeps track of devices you’ve been in close contact with for the past 14 days. Google and Apple cannot see your identity, nor can anyone who receives an exposure alert should you test positive for COVID-19.
Anyone can download the app to their smartphone at no charge. The app is a safe way to alert you to potential exposure to COVID-19 and help stop the spread of the virus!
If you test positive for COVID-19 and have the app running on your device, you will have the ability to share the anonymous codes your phone has transmitted. By sharing your anonymous codes, anyone you exchanged codes with (that meet the minimum exposure criteria), will receive an anonymous notification of possible exposure.
Local restaurants and other businesses are joining forces to offer special discounts on food, goods, and services as incentives if the community downloads the app and hits certain campaign goals. If Hawaii reaches 450,000 downloads of the AlohaSafe Alert app by March 26, 2021, then Zippy’s will offer 25 percent off all breakfast bentos from Monday, March 29 – Friday, April 2, 2021.
To get the app, download the AlohaSafe Alert app from the Apple app store or the Google Play store and run through the setup screens. Get more information on how Hawaii is tracking towards the goal by visiting alohasafealert.org or zippys.com.
