HONOLULU (HI Now) - Hi Now host Kainoa Carlson speaks to Marysol Ruiz co-founder and Vice President of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Hawaii and Alex Villarino, owner of Mercado De La Raza as they each talk about their businesses in the community.
The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce aim is to create an inclusive platform that celebrates diversity, encourages connections, and elevates the voice of our Latino business owners.
They will be holding the very first Latino Business Expo on Saturday, October 7th at Aloha Tower at 3pm to 7pm. The expo will offer attendees the opportunity to network with Latino owned businesses as well as provide workshops and panel discussions, delicious food, music and entertainment. The expo will also feature a tequila tasting fundraiser event sponsored by Teremana Tequila in which all proceeds will go to the Maui Relief Fund.
