HONOLULU (HI Now) - This year, Festa is a two-day event. The Passaporto Italiano VIP Experience will take place this Friday, September 15 at Velocity Honolulu from 5:30-9:30PM. Festa in Strada – the Street Festival – will take place Saturday, September 16 at Mother Waldron Park in Kakaako from 4-10PM.
The Passaporto Italiano VIP Experience (Friday, Sept. 15) is a 21 and over ticketed event featuring Hawaii’s top Italian restaurants paired with unlimited Italian, beer and cocktails.
The Street Festival (Saturday, Sept. 16) is free and open to the public, all ages welcome! You’ll be able to purchase items directly from the vendors. We’ll have our Il Vigneto serving Italian wines, beer, and cocktails. In addition to good food & drinks, you can expect live entertainment from a variety of local groups and bands – Hawaii Youth Symphony, Ballet Hawaii, Pierre Grill, and Mango Season Band. HIFF will be showcasing a couple of Italian films at the Cinema Italiano corner. They will have an Artists Corner with live painting and artwork for sell.
