HONOLULU (HI Now) - The Honolulu Night Market returns to Our Kaka’ako on Saturday, November 19, at 6 to 10 p.m.! Get a sneak peek of the fashion show from Danielle Gosiaco, Founder & Designer of Oceans End Hawaii, one of the brands being featured, as well as what AccesSurf has planned from Cara Short, the Executive Director.
Honolulu Night Market: Rooted will highlight how the food, culture, history and values of our island community are grounded in the ‘āina. The family-friendly street fair will feature an array of local food vendors and artisans, pa’i’ai (traditional cooked kalo root pounding) demonstrations and tastings courtesy of the Poi for the People initiative, a fashion show, live music by up-and-coming performers, and more. Plus, Worldwide Walls (formerly Pow!Wow! Hawaii) will be there with a fun, interactive art activation. Market goers are encouraged to grab a bite, buy local for the holidays, and support our neighboring businesses and community.
Oceans End Hawaii is designed in Hawai’i by Danielle Gosiaco and offers island-inspired purses and bags, T-shirts, hats, and a variety of home goods.
AccesSurf, the nonprofit partner for this Honolulu Night Market, aims to build an inclusive community that empowers people with disabilities through accessible beach and water programs. They provide adaptive equipment and therapeutic instruction for people with disabilities throughout Hawai’i and the world.
