Hawaii Food Bank nourishes families today and works to end hunger tomorrow

HONOLULU (HI Now) - As Hawai’i’s leading hunger-relief organization, Hawai’i Foodbank is committed to providing safe and healthy food for those in our community struggling with hunger. The Foodbank’s mission is to nourish our ‘ohana today while working to end hunger tomorrow. The Foodbank works closely with a network of over 200 food partner agencies, local farmers, retailers, dedicated volunteers, and staff to ensure every member of our ‘ohana has the nourishment they need to grow and thrive. Last year, Hawai’i Foodbank distributed food for more than 20 million meals, including 5.3 million pounds of fresh produce.
