Kihei Caffe serves up some of the best breakfast on Maui, and the restaurant is serving up a whole menu of local grinds full of aloha. It first opened it’s doors in the Kalama Park Village Shopping Center in 1998. Today, it’s located on the south shore of Maui, capturing the ever laid back essence of Kihei Town. Its motto is simple: “Eat, talk, share, and eat some more!”
Recipe: Big Kahuna Freeze
Ingredients:
18 oz Ice cubes
1/4 c Ghiardelli Frappe Powder Chocolate
2Tbsp Ghiardelli Chocolate Syrup
1Tbsp ground esspresso
1/4 c Iced Toddy or cold espresso
1/4 c either Heavy whipping cream, half and half, milk, or Non Dairy option – the caffe uses liquid ice cream
Directions:
Throw it all in a blender and top with whipped cream. Enjoy!
